Gunners forward offered to clubs as he seeks fresh challenge

According to reports in Italy, the representatives of Alexandre Lacazette have offered him to Serie A giants Juventus as well as La Liga outfits Barcelona and Atletico Madrid, with the striker reportedly seeking a fresh challenge next season.

The 29-year-old is contracted to Arsenal till the end of next season (2021/22) and will enter the final year of his deal this summer. He is however yet to pen an extension, and is reportedly open to the idea of leaving the Gunners for a club where he can actively challenge for trophies.

Lacazette has been at Arsenal since the summer of 2017 since joining them from Olympique Lyonnais. He has made over 150 appearances across all competitions for the club in his stay at the Emirates and has found the back of the net 59 times for them. With the Gunners, Lacazette has won 1 FA Cup and two Community Shield trophies so far.

At the time of writing, Arsenal are a disappointing 10th in the Premier League, a whopping 27 points behind leaders Man City. Mikel Arteta’s men have however managed to reach the Round of 16 in the Europa League, where they will take on Greek side Olympiacos.
