‘We need Pochettino back’ – Some Spurs fans react to 0-0 result away to Chelsea
Tottenham Hotspur seemed to set up to earn a clean sheet and a point away to Chelsea this evening, with Jose Mourinho returning to his old home of Stamford Bridge.
The home side were certainly the more progressive of the two in terms of searching for a winner, coming close a few times when crossing to Tammy Abraham in the middle.
Spurs looked less inclined to break away through the pace of Heung-min Son today, with the South Korean doing more defensive work than attacking on the wing.
Tanguy Ndombele arguably looked to be Tottenham’s most creative player, but even he was unable to fashion too much in the way of clear cut chances.
Steven Bergwijn had a couple of half-chances come his way, which was unfortunate as he is certainly the least sharp of the Tottenham front line in terms of fitness and minutes.
In the end, a point took Spurs back to the summit of the Premier League and the majority of fans seemed happy with the result, although the odd supporter was unhappy with Mourinho’s style.

Yeah all responsibility falls to him after missing a difficult chance in difficult angle. He couldn’t shoot, Zouma and Silva would have covered if Gio had shot. He tried to flick that to Kane to head it.

We need Pochettino back, I can't stand the old fashioned defensive coach anymore. We are known for attacking football under poch. Sack this Old school coach Right know ffs????????????????????????????????????????

A good point but what was Lo Celso thinking? Should have been more ruthless or passed to Kane

You gotta love it. No fans. ZERO home field advantage, and the plan was to play for one point. ???????????? guess that’s why Jose gets paid the big bucks. What a strategy. Halftime speech. Guys do not attempt to win this game. I want no shots on goal. We clear?

We got a point. Relax

Never seen a game where both sides literally set up for 0-0 from the 1st minute. Neither set of fans can actually be happy with the result. Why he didn't bring Bale on for Bergwijn is beyond me.
