NY Red Bulls Fall 1-0 To Cincinnati

The New York Red Bulls lost 0-1 against FC Cincinnati on Saturday night. The Red Bulls’ next game will be away at Inter Miami FC on Wednesday

 

After the first 45 minutes, the Red Bulls generated five shots, one of them on target. Danny Royer had a great scoring opportunity near halftime.

Kaku finished the first half with three key passes.

The first substitution of the night for New York was Florian Valot coming onto the field for Dru Yearwood.

David Jensen made a great save in the 72nd minute to keep the game at a scoreless draw.

In the 79th minute, Samuel Tetteh came onto the field for Brian White. The Ghanian forward made his first MLS appearance.

Omir Fernandez also was subbed on for Kaku.

The Red Bulls final substitutions were Jared Stroud and Tom Barlow for Kyle Duncan and Sean Nealis.

 

FC Cincy’s Haris Medunjanin scored a goal off the corner in the 86th minute.
