“He is in my plans” – Pochettino gives Spurs midfielder hope

Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino has said Victor Wanyama remains in his plans despite the fact the midfielder almost left before the close of the transfer window.
Wanyama was heavily linked with a move to Club Brugge in the days leading up the the European deadline but a move failed to materialise. The Kenyan, who has two years remaining on his contract, is yet to play a single minute for Spurs this season.
Speaking ahead of Saturday’s Premier League meeting with Crystal Palace, Pochettino revealed Wanyama and Christian Eriksen – who was also linked with an exit throughout the summer window – remain in his plans, though they must now refocus on helping the team.
