Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing Celta Vigo striker Maxi Gomez, according to the Mirror.
Gomez was heavily linked with West Ham United in the January transfer window. It was believed the Hammers were willing to pay his £43.3 million release clause, but a deal failed to materialise.
The fact Marko Arnautovic, who was involved in a Chinese Super League transfer saga throughout last month, stayed put could have something to do with West Ham failing to sign Gomez.
The 22-year-old Uruguayan has scored nine goals and provided five assists in 22 La Liga appearances so far this season.
