Curzon Ashton V Chester FC MATCH THREAD
We play our first away game of the new season tomorrow night as we play away against Curzon Ashton in Ashton-Under-Lyme. I’m hoping that we can really kick-off our season tomorrow night as I thought that there were some areas in our team that looked disjointed yesterday.
Curzon Ashton started there season with a really impressive result at Darlington yesterday, so we must not get too ahead of ourselves. They seem to be a bit of a bogey team as we haven’t beaten them since our reformation, but of course I really do hope that we can banish that record tomorrow. They are a side who have been involved in a fair few relegation battles in the past, although they have an experiekvef managed in John Flanagan who knows that club well. Although Curzon are one of the smaller clubs in this league, they boast an immaculate playing surface which will suit us a lot as we have an amazing pitch ourselves.
I really can’t wait for this game now, and it would be great if we can replicate yesterday's outstanding atmosphere which will give us a massively boost. This will be the first of many away’s for me this season so let’s hope that we can return from Ashton-Under-Lyme with three points which will see us go top of the league for the time being ????.
