...since GR got sacked. Absolutely disgusting really. Yes he wasn't perfect but my word he knew how to get the most out of a limited bunch by playing a system where everyone understood their roles. Square pegs in square holes, simple.
I'm surprised by Steve Cotterill to be honest, he strikes me as a no nonsense, well drilled coach but the setup tonight was so poor, the lack was quality and cohesion was so clear yet the changes / formation were baffling at times.
- Ndoye is not a number 10. Play him holding midfield where he can close down and break up play
- Davis was well off the pace (again). Get him out the team.
- Jota is wasted out wide. Put him in the middle so he can thread balls through.
- Gallagher is NOT a wide player, nor a loan front man. Play him in a front 2 and give them service.
- Maghoma is so poor it's alarming. He really needs to be bombed out
