The Royals youngster heads to the Saunders Transport Community Stadium on a one-month loan deal.
Boyd has played for Reading’s Under 18s and is currently part of Peter Scott’s U21s set up.
He made his First Team debut back in November 2024, away at Cheltenham Town in the Group Stages of the Vertu Trophy.
Joins fellow Reading team-mate Tom Norcott to help shore up the Farnborough defence.
Beacroft has been allocated shirt number 2.
