Dare I say 4-4-2 would probably suit Jay best.
Put him up front with a proper partner. I know it is outdated now but him and Ducksh as a pairing would probably work best for him. It means the two in center midfield and wingers would have to work harder.
Could be the new Heskey/Forssell duo.
