A friend of mine is buying and on the day when everything was due to be exchanged, movers booked etc, one couple in the chain said they wanted an extra £10,000 for their house and asked everybody in the chain to contribute to make it all go through. What. The. F**k?
The worst part is, the people buying their house actually stumped up the cash. I'd have told them right where to go.
Is this normal? Have any of you experienced this sort of behaviour?
