Some of the threads on here have got me wondering….
Genuine question, which I don’t know the answer to.
Is this still a thing/aspiration of our hierarchy?
Was it (just) something that was used as a partial justification for the Rooney appointment that has been quietly shelved tail between legs style?
Or, is it still there and I mean as a fairly concrete goal, (as opposed to a sort of an of course all fans/owners would prefer more rather than less exciting football?)
