The starting of this annual thread is egregiously late. Apologies to all of my fan (singular) for the disappointment.
Akron Zips began the 2024 campaign in all too familiar lackluster fashion, getting absolutely manhandled at home by I-71 rival OSU Buckeyes. Even worse were consecutive home losses to IU Indianapolis and perennial cellar dweller Temple.
