I was very impressed when I first saw Dowell on his debut for us - he's a proper footballer. My only negative comment is that when the opposition imposed a bit more physicality and closed down tightly, he could become a bit peripheral. I'm a bit on the fence about him for that reason - but if he's deemed good enough for a good Championship squad by CD and the management team, then who am I to argue?
