The Boston Bruins marked a four-game losing streak against the New York Islanders in a close overtime match on their home ice, putting them at 20-17-5.

The Islanders outshot the Bruins 37-30, and clinched the win 3 minutes into overtime. Despite the loss, the Bruins picked up their energy after David Pastrnak scored two back-to-back goals to send the B’s into OT.
