Don't get me wrong I hope we still continue to pursue ambitious targets as well, but he'd be a lot more than a good backup. Just by looking at his scoring record, he'd be an excellent starter for us never mind backup.

Just asked a Charlton fan what to expect if we do sign him, and he says "aside from his goals, he's a runner, works really hard and has excellent positioning. Always seems to be in the right place"

Sounds like a fantastic Stansfield replacement.
