Congrats To Weekend Results

Congrats to all our competitors over the weekend! We had a pretty good crowd for all events!

In the elementary school circuit, Olivia McKinney took a loss in the finals against Emma Chi from Greensboro. Olivia took second place while her teammates took third and fifth.

In the middle school circuit, Isabella Lee came to win and took first place exacting revenge from her one loss in the pools against Paxxon Fernandez. She beat Paxxon in the finals 15-9. Paxxon took 2nd, Callaghan Young took 5th, Olivia Elliott took 6th, and Finn O’Donnell took 7th.

Homeschool Season Championships
Congrats to the homeschool team of captain Lily Kube, Isaac Canady, and Zion Facey. The team only took 1 loss in the season and placed first in the homeschool championship.

In the homeschool individual championship, all qualified fencers were able to participate. Isaac Canady took first as the homeschool state champion. Zion Facey tied for third. Lily took 6th. And Mesha Green took 11th.

Isabelle, Lily, and Isaac Earn Their Referee Rating

USA Fencing Certified Referee Observer, Stephen Pashby, came to test and observe Isabelle, Lily, and Isaac in a practical examination with a team event. All three have taken their referee clinic, passed all three Olympic fencing weapon written examinations and have earned their L2 referee rating from Stephen.

Wilmington This Weekend
