COLUMBUS, Ga. –  Andrea Vega (SR/Barrington, Ill.) and Karla Islas (SO/Mexico City, Mexico) made quite a name for themselves at the NAIA Swimming and Diving National Championships. The duo made frequent trips to the podium, including taking their familiar spots at the top on Saturday, March 2, the final day of competition. Islas opened the day capturing the 1650 Freestyle title in school record time. Not to be outdone, Vega completed the sweep of the Breaststroke events, this time capturing the 200, also in school record time. Overall the Tigers finished fourth of the 25 teams who scored at the meet.
