A bit of a cheat post, but I’ve just watched some 1975 games revisited on ITV4. Some strange things I noticed.
1. Life was in colour, I remember 75 and it seemed pretty monochrome at the time.
2. Players barged into each other, and players barged back. What was wrong with good old diving and collapsing as if shot with a big bullet when another player comes within a yard of you?
3. Strangest of all, Middlesbrough played in front of a full house. Unbelievable.
