3 Stages… 2 Days… 1 Epic Weekend of Cycling!
Join us for the Tour de Riding Mountain, a thrilling two-day, three-stage cycling event that serves as:
- Manitoba Provincial Championships
- Canada Summer Games Qualifier
- General Classification (GC) Competition.
Whether you are a seasoned racer or a passionate enthusiast, this event offers something for everyone.
Stage 1: MB Provincial Road Championship & Gran Fondo
- Date: Saturday, May 31, 2025
- Location: Northgate Trailhead, Dauphin, MB
- Start Time: 8:00 AM (Sign in & Walk-up Registration Opens)
- Distance: 100 km & 60 km options
Choose between the competitive Provincial Road Race or the scenic Gran Fondo.
Stage 2: MB Provincial Time Trial Championship
- Date: Sunday, June 1, 2025
- Location: Northgate Trailhead, Dauphin, MB
- Start Time: 7:45 AM (Sign in & Walk-up Registration Opens)
- Distance: test your endurance with an 11 km hill climb time trial.
Stage 3: Dauphin City Centre Criterium (MB Provincial Championship)
- Date: Sunday, June 1, 2025
- Location: Downtown Dauphin (1st Ave NW & Main st).
- Race Categories: Cat 1/2/3, Cat 4, Cat 5 (men & women)
- Start Time(s): 12:15 PM (Sign in & Walk-up Registration Opens)
- Cat 5: 2:00 PM
- Cat 4: 2:45 PM
- Cat 1/2/3: 3:30 PM
- Distance: Experience high-speed action on a 1.1 km downtown circuit
ONLINE REGISTRATION – CLOSES Wed, May 28, 2025 11:59 PM
- Online registration: Road race or Gran Fondo Adults: $70; Youth 17 and under: $45
- Online registration: Time Trial Adults: $30; Youth 17 and under: $20
- Online registration: Criterium Adults: $30; Youth 17 and under: $20
- *SAVE* Online registration discount if racing in all 3 events: adults $100, youth 17 years and under $65
WALK UP REGISTRATION
Walk up registration day of race is available at a higher cost (CASH ONLY)
- Walk up registration: Road race or Gran Fondo Adults: $120; Youth 17 and under: $80
- Walk up registration: Time Trial Adults: $60; Youth 17 and under: $40
- Walk up registration: Criterium Adults: $60; Youth 17 and under: $40
Purchase of one single event permit wlll allow participation of Grand Fondo and/or Time Trial.
- Adult single event permit: $35
- Youth 16 years old and under: $10
- Children 12 years and under: $5
All awards and prizing will be handed out at the Northgate Trailhead parking lot following the Road Race and Gran Fondo.
Provincial Road Championship Medals
- Medals will be awarded to the top three male and female racers in each category.
- Only Manitoba residents are eligible to receive Provincial medals. Non-residents who place in the top three will be acknowledged but will not receive a medal.
Manitoba Provincial Champion Jerseys
- The top Manitoban male in Cat 1/2/3 and the top Manitoban female in Cat 4 will be awarded the Provincial Champion Jersey.
- Jerseys will be presented on their respective podiums.
- Winners may wear the jersey at all road events (including time trials and criteriums) until the 2026 Provincial Championships.
Gran Fondo Prizes
Prizing will be awarded to the top three male and female riders in both the short and long course categories.
The organizer reserves the right to adjust prize distribution.
General Classification (GC) Awards
The Tour de Riding Mountain includes a General Classification based on combined times from:
- Road Race
- Time Trial
- Criterium
- GC podiums will recognize the best overall male and female times in Cat 1/2/3, Cat 4, and Cat 5.
- Junior GC prize for male and female in Cat 4/5
- Presentations will take place at the end of the Criterium Race on Sunday, June 1.
- GC results will be posted on the event website within two hours of each event’s completion.
