February 28, 2025 – WldLights Lantern Trail (RSPB Old Moor, Barnsley)

Organiser’s description:
#WildLightsLantern Trail , our sell out lantern events are back and this Spring we’re celebrating brilliant birds!
RSPB Old Moor nature reserve will once more be beautifully lit with giant wildlife sculptures and friendly puppets, plus smaller lanterns from family and community workshops, crafts and fire pits for 2 magical evenings at our nature reserve.

If you would like to get creative, book onto one of our family workshops to make a garden bird or starling lantern.
**Likely to sell out, booking essential**
Bring your torch and explore Old Moor after hours along paths lined with beautiful lanterns and artwork, enjoy crafts and activities (bluebell lanterns and shadow puppet making) before snuggling up round the campfires with a hot chocolate. Included in your WildLights ticket is reserve entry, parking, crafts and activities, though £1 donations for crafts would be much appreciated.
Our shop and café may be open for the events, we will confirm closer to the time via email to those attending. Thanks for your patience. All profits from our shop and café go to the RSPB’s wildlife conservation work.
