White Horse Point Score Round 2
Round 2 of the White Horse criterium series starts on Friday Jan 17th 2025 for 8 weeks
Thanks to everyone who attended Series 1 which saw great racing in all the grades. A big thank you to our team of volunteers, there is no racing without you!
Series 2 runs from – January 17th to 7th March 2025.
Start time and Race Duration may alter slightly dependent on weather conditions and number of participants.
6 PM D grade 20 Mins Track2
6 PM C grade 20 mins Track 2 + 2 laps track 3
6.30 PM B grade @ 30mins Track 3
6.30 PM A Grade @ 40Mins Track 3
Points awarded on each of the Series nights – 1 point to start, 1st – 5 points, 2nd – 3 points, 3rd – 2 points, 4th – 1 point , Primes 1 Point.
Weekly prizes from White Horse, fresh roasted beans and coffee vouchers, with the major prizes at the end of each series.
The top 3 placegetters in Men’s and Women’s A , B and C grades will be awarded the prizemoney at the end of the series.
A grade 1st $500, 2nd $300, 3rd $200
B grade 1st $350, 2nd $250, 3rd $150
C grade 1st $300, 2nd $200, 3rd $140
The highest SSCC rider in each grade if not in the top 3,
A – $250, B – $200, C – $150
D Grade prizemoney will be the usual sweepstake.
- A rider may voluntarily move up to the next grade or when he/she accumulates 20 points or has three wins in a grade
- If a rider moves up a grade the maximum points they can take with them is one point less than the current third place rider in the higher grade
EG. C grade rider Sandy Bagger wins 3 races gets promoted to B grade their point tally will be same as the B grade 3rd placed rider minus 1 point
- Riders who are clearly in the wrong grade may be promoted / demoted at the discretion of the race committee.
- Riders must compete in at least 5 of the 8 race series to be eligible for the Prizemoney
