Mud, Mints, and Masterful Berm Repairs: Trail Sisters Shine at Sandy Ridge
The first Trail Sisters dig of the 2024/25 season was at Sandy Ridge on December 15, and it was a berm-smashing success!
There were 9 volunteers in total, but a small crew split off and took care of puddles and drainage issues on Rock Drop while the main crew handled drainage and berm repair on Flow Motion.
After about 3 hours of work, everyone had time for other pressing responsibilities like riding, eating two kinds of homemade soup, sipping beverages from Hopworks, consuming an entire box of Andes Mints (a holiday staple!), enjoying some swag giveaways from PNW Components and GU Energy Labs, and chatting during a leisurely hang sesh.
Our Trail Sisters crew leads loved seeing new faces out there. And since they had so much fun, they figured they’d do it again at Cascade Locks next month!
