Volunteers Restore Step Creek Loop in Tillamook State Forest
Written by Nathan Frechen
Seventeen folks came out this past Saturday to help remove debris and water from Step Creek. Over the course of 4 hours, we were able to get all 3 miles of the loop trail cleaned up — leaves removed, bridges cleaned up, drains drained, one log removed via Tony Ohotto. We had a great time hanging out afterward around the fire. Thanks again to DayBreak Racing for providing hot soup and snacks afterward!
The next Tillamook State Forest work party is planned for Saturday, January 11th, when we’ll be back in the clearcut on Gales Creek. Click the button below to sign up.
