Transfers 2025: Late summer edition
Transfer season rolls on. Riders are busy Vueltaing and we figure the biggest moves have already happened but there are still rumblings about Evenepoel moving on to RedBull to improve his GT support (and possibly his bank account) and/or Pidcock doing the same. Pat Lefevere is unusually quiet so there may at least be some truth to stuff happening behind the scenes, we’ll see.
Meanwhile the latest news today is that Lidl-Trek are beefing up their classics squad with somewhat enigmatic Søren Kragh Andersen who probably felt Alpecin got a bit thin on opportunities as Philipsen made the final leap into superstardom along side Van der Poel. Lidl-Trek isn’t exactly empty of stars either but maybe there are more chances to shine in their system?
