October 1, 2023 – Women only bike ride to Chapeltown Park (Sheffield)
Welcome to the Trans Pennine Trail
A national coast to coast route for recreation and transport – for walkers, cyclists and (in parts) horse riders
October 1, 2023 – Women only bike ride to Chapeltown Park (Sheffield)
A Sustrans Event – join their trained and friendly women volunteers for a gentle ride, exploring another cycle route taking in some sights and sounds of the city. They’ll be meeting at 9am at Barker’s Pool to check over bikes and get to know everyone.
The ride will depart at a steady pace suitable for the slowest riders, at 9:30am.
The route we have planned goes out along the Five Wiers Walk to Chapeltown Park, returning by the same route. The route is mostly traffic-free trails and quiet roads. The pace will always ensure that we regroup periodically, where needed and wait for everyone.
Date: Sunday, October 1
Time: 9am – 4pm
Location: Barker’s Pool Sheffield City Centre S1
