5th Axis welcomes Will King as the new Vice President of 5 DEV

San Diego, CA – 5th Axis Inc. is pleased to announce bike industry veteran, Will King, will be joining the company as the new Vice President of 5 DEV, the company’s bicycle component division. In his role, Mr. King will lead the engineering, marketing and business development strategies, accelerating revenue through their expanding worldwide market presence.

 

King brings over 16 years of leadership and engineering experience, with eleven of those years working within SRAM LLC, where he specialized in developing bicycle drivetrains and structural components. Will is a graduate of Purdue University and holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and was also an avid member of the Purdue Cycling Team. 

“Will is an outstanding addition to the 5 DEV team, as he brings a deep blend of engineering expertise and bike industry knowledge,” said Chris Taylor, co-CEO of 5th Axis. “As 5 DEV continues to grow rapidly, Will’s strong background will drive the company in the right direction.
