Still seeking a club treasurer

Do you know anyone who might like to be our next club treasurer?

We are still looking for a volunteer who’d like to take on the role of club treasurer at PPYCC. It’s only about a 1hr per week commitment and involves maintaining a simple accounts spreadsheet, handling requests for cheques, contact point for the bank, liaising with accountant to submit annual tax return and attending committee meetings to update team on finances. It can be a little busier when we run events like Cyclo Cross or Omnium, we usually run two race events per year when there’s not a global pandemic! It is a Brighton-based role because we have to counter-sign cheques.

Please check with friends and families, it would obviously suit anyone who works in finance in some capacity and wants to use their skills to give something back to the community.
