GWB Bike ramps started

Not sure which will be which, but ramps on both sides of the GWB have been started on the NYC end. I first saw the north side ramp a few days ago on my way up to Lake George, and saw the south side just a little while ago. I've always thought that the south side ramp, where the hairpin turn is, could easily be replaced as it would be in an otherwise unused patch of grass and would not pass over any other roadway or ramps. It is finally in the works. Maybe by next summer we'll have something. On the north side walkway the fencing is all down too and workers were there. On the NJ end of the north side I didn't see anything new, just that the new car ramp from the Palisade Pkwy was in progress. I don't know if the new ramp from the path will be part of anything at that end.
