Good Afternoon!! I'm new to this forum and fairly new to cycling. I've been using a Schwinn Hybrid and riding mostly rail trail paths and local bike paths. Even rode a century on it last year. I have found I enjoy cycling, but I don't have a lot of money to spend. I'm Looking at three bikes right now, all entry level, two used, one new. I would love feedback!
1st one is a Trek Pilot 1.0. its in really good shape 2006, $225
2nd one I just found, haven't been told the year yet, looks to be in great shape Trek 1.1 Alpha $275
3rd would be a Tommaso Imola that I would purchase new. $600
So, all are entry level road bikes, none have terrible reviews, and all have their cons. But I think they would all work. I'm 51 years old, I enjoy 20+ mile long rides. The occasional longer charity bike ride. I have no plans to race. Opinions please? Suggestions on other bikes.
