Urgent: Dutch cyclist Kimmann wins men's BMX racing at Tokyo Olympics
TOKYO, July 30 (Xinhua) -- Niek Kimmann won the Netherlands' first men's cycling BMX racing gold at the Ariake Urban Sports Park here on Friday.
The Dutch, who finished seventh at Rio 2016, crossed the line first in 39.053 seconds, edging British rider Kye Whyte by 0.114 seconds.
Rio bronze medalist Carlos Alberto Ramirez Yepes of Colombia had another third-place finish in 40.572 seconds.
