Shora gear shifter stuck (video inside)

Hi, I'm quite new to bikes, some time ago I bought my first decent (or at least I think it is) bike, a BMC AC01, and since the very beginning I noticed that the gear shifter was working weirdly, but didn't act on it, maybe I should've.
