Czech Grandmaster Petr Neuman Mar 11, 1978 Apr 28, 2025 (age 47)? passed away suddenly on Monday after competing
in the final round of the Bundesliga in Deggendorf. Neuman also regularly played in the Czech League and local tournaments including
this year's national championships. He became an IM 2002 and a GM in 2013 and peaked with a rating of 2522 then that earned him this title.
Neuman was a teacher and chess trainer, well liked on the chess circuit where he played so frequently.
