Litheli 20V 13″ Cordless Lawn Mower with Brushless Motor review

REVIEW – Over the past few months, I have tested a Chainsaw and Pole Saw manufactured by a company called Litheli. Their products are battery powered and the two that I tested worked great. I have since become a fan and now that it is Spring and the grass is growing again, I get to test the Litheli 20V 13″ Cordless Lawn Mower with Brushless Motor.

What is it?

The Litheli 20V 13″ Cordless Lawn Mower with Brushless Motor High-tech brushless motor runs at 3900 RPM, features 5 cutting heights, and a 13″ anti-rust sharpness-retaining steel blade.

Design and features

Features

The Lawn M0wer c0mes mostly assembled with the only setup requirement being to attach the handle. There is a handle in the middle the grass catcher on the back and the battery port and spare holder are enclosed in the front covered by a see-through cover. There is also a safety plug next to the battery. The 13-inch blade on the bottom is surrounded by a protective shroud.

The battery charger and one battery are included.

Performance

Out of the box, the only thing I needed to do was connect the handle and charge the battery. That’s it!!

When I am not using the mower, I remove the battery and place it in the storage compartment.


Now it was finally time to take this lawn mower out for a spin and I am happy to report that just like the other Litheli products I have tested, this mower performed flawlessly. When I first started cutting the lawn, the mower seems to get caught up on the grass and it automatically turned off to protect itself. I quickly realized that I needed to adjust the height level of the blade to one of the 5 levels of adjustment to match my lawn. It is important to understand while watching the following video, that I moved the mower in that unusual pattern to showcase its ability to still properly cut a lawn like mine that was butchered by the previous homeowner, and is now completely unlevel with several “hill and valleys”.

The safe start is quick and easy without the need to erratically pull on a cord or chain and the blade stops spinning with 3 seconds of releasing the lever. This is a great safety feature especially if you are like me and have young kids running around. The grass catcher did a great job and was easy to detach, empty, and reattach. It was simply a pleasure to use, and the battery was still going strong more than 30 minutes later.

Final thoughts

After previously testing the Litheli Chainsaw and the Litheli Pole Saw, I was expecting great design and performance from this lawn Mower and it has delivered on every level. This is the first time I have ever use the word sexy to describe something like a Lawnmower, but this one is sexy and performs great. IMHO, I give it a very well done and two thumbs up!!
