Candidates Resumes November 1? **UPDATED** Yes!

The FIDE Candidates tournament is resuming, and it's going to be resumed on the web. At least that's what it says on 2700chess (scroll to "Future Events" below the player list); I don't see it confirmed on the tournament webpage or on TWIC, ChessBase, Chess24, Chess.com, so maybe 2700chess just gave it a date so that there's a place holder for it on the page? If anyone knows more about this, please send a comment.

**UPDATE** Thanks to Andy Soltis and Oliver for pointing out that the Candidates is indeed resuming, and that the players will go at it in person and not over the interwebz. (See their comments to this post for further details.) I'm not sure how I missed all the announcements, or how it was that no one told me about it, but there you have it: I was perhaps the last person on earth who would normally know about this to get the news.

It should be exciting, and I look forward to reporting on Caruana's glorious comeback win.
