Tradewise Gibraltar Chess Festival 2017 - Games and Results
The Tradewise Gibraltar Chess Festival took place 24th January to 2nd February 2017. Leading players: Caruana, Vachier-Lagrave, Nakamura, Ivanchuk, Adams, Svidler, Topalov, Yu Yangyi, Vitiugov, Gelfand, Naiditsch,Matlakov, Cheparinov, Kovalenko, Zvjaginsev, Short, Shankland, Fressinet, Ganguly, Howell, Iturrizaga etc Hikaru Nakamura won the event for the third year running after winning the tie-break. He beat Yu Yangyi in the semi-final of the tie-breaks and then David Anton in the final.
