The German Bundesliga takes place 21st October to 1st May 2018. Baden-Baden are defending champions and top seeds. The final weekend takes place 29th April to 1st May 2018 in Berlin as part of the 150th birthday Celebrations of Emanuel Lasker organised by the club "Schachfreunde Berlin 1903". There is a special blitz tournament on the 28th April. 8 round swiss, semi-final and final.
