Congratulations to FM Adam C Taylor (Manningtree) on securing his first IM Norm at the Hastings International Chess Congress 2017/18. Adam scored 5½/9, with only one loss, against a field including 4 GMs, 3 IMs and 1 FM for a TPR of 2452. Adam had the satisfaction of beating the tournament winner, GM Deep Sengupta 2586, in the first round. An impressive performance!
