Tensions flare during Hitchins vs Kambosos final press conference

Richardson Hitchins and George Kambosos Jr are pretty much sick of one another at this point.

The final press conference for this weekend’s IBF 140 lb title fight between Richardson Hitchins and George Kambosos Jr got testy when Hitchins would confront Kambosos with a fistful of cash, once again urging him to make a wager on the outcome of their fight on Saturday night.

When Hitchins would approach and antagonize Kambosos about not making a bet with him, Kambosos jumped out of his seat before security stepped in between the fighters. The two would exchange a few words before promoter Eddie Hearn would ask Hitchins about his final prediction on how he beats Kambosos.

“Dominating fashion,” Hitchins said. “Like I said, Saturday night I won’t be going nowhere. I’ll be right in front of him. Bill Haney want to say ‘don’t run, get knocked the f-ck out,’ I ain’t Devin Haney, I’ll be right there in front of him all night punishing this guy.”

A face off between the fighters would be called off as a member of Haney’s team appeared to charge Kambosos with a chair.
