Northwestern transfer Cade Bennerman commits to North Carolina

North Carolina has secured a big transfer from Northwestern for next season.
Northwestern transfer Cade Bennerman will play for the Tar Heels next season, he announced on Instagram on Monday.
Bennerman was a redshirt freshman at Northwestern after entering last season as a three-star recruit.
The 7-foot center will come in under new head coach, and NBA Champion, Michael Malone in what is expected to be a year with high expectations for the program. He joins a 2026 recruiting class for the Tar Heels consisting of transfers Neoklis Avdalas, Matt Able, Terrence Brown and Maxim Logue.
