Simeon Wilcher is coming home.

.The Plainfield, N.J., native and former Roselle Catholic star has committed to Shaheen Holloway and Seton Hall, as first reported by On3.com.

“Excited to see Sim back in N.J. and playing for Seton Hall,” former RC coach Dave Boff told ZAGSBLOG. “Sim is one of New Jersey’s all-time winningest high school players. I think he’s going to bring a ton to the table to help Seton Hall back to the NCAA Tournament.”

The former McDonald’s All-American initially committed to North Carolina before flipping to St. John’s.

He spent two seasons with Rick Pitino before transferring to Texas, where he averaged 5.6 points and 1.7 assists in about 19 minutes per game.

With the departures of guards Budd Clark and Tajuan Simpkins, Wilcher will likely be a featured guard under Holloway as he revamps the roster yet again.

He has one year of eligibility remaining.
