Villanova lands Oregon transfer Kwame Evans Jr.
By ADAM ZAGORIA
Villanova has landed a commitment from Oregon transfer Kwame Evans Jr., his father told ZAGSBLOG.
A former McDonald’s All-American, the 6-foot-10 Baltimore native averaged 13.3 points and 7.4 rebounds this past season with the Ducks.
It’s close to home and Evans’ father is close friends with Villanova assistant Kevin Norris.
He has one year of eligibility remaining and joins Kevin Willard for his second season at Villanova after the Wildcats lost guards Acaden Lewis and Bryce Lindsay to the NBA Draft and the portal.
Villanova finished third in the Big East this past season and lost to Utah State in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.
