Luka Dončić feeling ‘much better’ ahead of Game 4 vs. Wolves
After battling a stomach bug during Game 3 on Friday, Luka Dončić is heading into Game 4 in a much better spot physically for the Lakers.
From the onset of Game 3 against the Wolves on Friday, it was clear that Luka Dončić was far from 100%. Having dealt with a stomach bug for the 24 hours leading up to the game, Luka looked drained physically and, as a result, had his worst showing of the playoffs yet.
With the quick turnaround to Game 4 on Sunday afternoon, there were legitimate concerns about how much Luka could physically recover before taking the court again. Fortunately, all reports and quotes have been positive.
Hours before the game, Shams Charania of ESPN reported that Luka had spent effectively all of Saturday sleeping, something he was unable to do much of before Game 3.

Then, during his pregame presser, head coach JJ Redick further eased concerns with a very brief, but very encouraging update on Luka.

Because of the quick turnaround, it seems unlikely for Luka to be all the way back to full strength, but being better than he was on Friday is a huge boost.
Without him at anything near 100%, the Lakers dropped a heartbreaker and now head into Game 4 needing a win to not only steal back homecourt advantage, but to avoid falling behind 3-1 in the series.
Whatever it was that plagued Luka, it seems to be out of his system ahead of a season-defining Game 4 in Minnesota. Just make sure Luka doesn’t eat anything else in Minneapolis before heading back to LA, just to be safe.
