Mark your calendars!

It’s time to mark your calendars, Dub Nation. We may have to wait another two-plus months for a meaningful Golden State Warriors game, but we now know when those games will be. Well, most of them, at least.

Like all teams, the Warriors announced their schedule for the 2024-25 NBA season on Thursday morning. If highlights and voiceovers are your thing, you can watch the fun and catchy video they made.

If a more standard calendar is your thing, then don’t worry: I’ll put one at the bottom of the article.

The Dubs start the season on Wednesday, October 23 by paying a visit to the Portland Trail Blazers. A Terry Stotts revenge game, perhaps? It’s a two-game road trip to open things up, as they take on the Utah Jazz — who we now know will employ Lauri Markkanen — that Friday, October 25.

The home opener comes two days later, when they host the Los Angeles Clippers on Sunday, October 27. That’s part of a three-game home stand that features a baseball-style back-to-back against the New Orleans Pelicans on October 29 and 30. The final regular season game on the books is Sunday, April 13, at home against the Clippers.

Keen eyes might notice that the regular season schedule only features 80 games. That’s because the in-season tournament — now called the Emirates NBA Cup — is back for a second year. Four of the team’s regular season games will count towards the cup, and the top eight teams will move to a single-elimination tournament. If the Warriors don’t advance past the group stage, they’ll have two additional games added to their regular season schedule; if they’re eliminated in the quarterfinals, one additional game will be added; and if they advance to the semifinals or beyond, that will put them at 82 games (all tournament games count towards the standings except for the championship game).

What game are you most looking forward to?
