Team defense is the player of the game. Led by Smith and Holmes but every play (except Zimi unfortunately) was flat out getting inside people's jerseys.
Amzil with major minutes again. He didn't really earn them with his play per se (4 TO's and numerous bad decisions against pressure defense), but he played OK. We're better when he plays.
Holmes much better job of finishing around the rim, and doing a great job of protecting the rim. Somebody get him an EKG. Kidding (not "joking"), but not kidding at the same time.
Weaver 4-5 from 3. Well, if that continues, I guess we can live with the terrible ball handling. Seriously Weaver 6 TO's? And it should have been 10 but he got a number of lucky bounces.
Zimi looked TURRIBLE. No game legs yet. Why 8 minutes, AG???
Mali is our PG for as long as we wants to or 4 years, whichever comes first. The position is now firmly his. Wow that guy is a sparkplug, and it's just as much on the defensive end as the offensive end.
Camara: You know there's no rule that you have to shoot it every time you touch it, right? Play under control my friend.
Greer: Super-steady in only 10 minutes. Clearly has vision and an understanding for the geometry of the game. What a fantastic play on the fake oop to Holmes, great controlled play by the freshman. He looks like a cagey, smart kid.
