By JAMES MADDEN
Butler has already added its fourth transfer portal addition in Ole Miss transfer Eduardo Klafke, per release. A 6-foot-5 guard from Brazil, Klafke appeared in 70 games for Ole Miss over the last two seasons and contributed to its Sweet Sixteen run in 2025.
“Eduardo is battle-tested from playing in the SEC the past two years,” said new Butler head coach Ronald Nored in a release. “He’s earned the reputation as a shooter but we were also impressed with his ability to drive the ball and his vision in making plays for others. Eduardo will play a significant role for us the next few seasons and we’re excited to get him on campus soon.”
This season for the Rebels, Klafke 4.6 points and 2.5 rebounds per game, while shooting over 40% from three-point range for the second-straight season.
Klafke is the second Brazilian national to commit to Butler during the transfer portal cycle, joining Kansas transfer Samis Calderon, who committed on Monday.
North Dakota State transfer Treyson Anderson and Florida Gulf Coast transfer Jordan Ellerbee round out the Bulldogs’ class thus far.
A member of the class of 2024 in high school, he was a top-120 recruit and committed to Ole Miss as the best player in Brazil, according to rankings.
