Kansas lands point guard Bobby Pettiford Jr.

Bobby Pettiford, the 6-foot-1 point guard from Creedmoor, (N.C.) South Granville, committed to Kansas on Tuesday.

Ranked the No. 14 point guard in the Class of 2021 per 247Sports.com, he initially committed to Louisville last June before decommitting last week.

He chose Kansas over Coppin State, Georgia, Hampton, Maryland, Providence, South Carolina, Texas A&M, Vanderbilt and Virginia Tech, among others.

Pettiford averaged 22 points, 7 assists and 6 rebounds last season.

The Jayhawks also have power forwards Zach Clemence and K.J. Adams committed for 2021.

Reserve guard Tristan Enaruna and forward Tyler Grant-Foster announced they would transfer.
