[Men's Volleyball] No. 6 BENU Downs No. 8 Vanguard

No. 6 Benedictine-Mesa recorded three consecutive wins last week, highlighted by Saturday's 3-1 victory over No. 8 Vanguard, 3-1, in Chandler, Ariz.  The Redhawks played solid in the first set, taking advantage of some Lions' errors to take a 1-0 lead, but Vanguard responded with a set two victory to even the match.  BENU buckled down in the final two sets, pulling away in the middle part of set three thanks to two kills apiece from Landon Fuller and Bobby Henige and then scoring five of the final seven points in the fourth set, including two kills from Henige to end the match.  Fuller led the attack with 12 kills and added 10 digs and five blocks, while Dapre Rogers added eight kills and Henige finished with seven kills, three aces and six blocks.
