Warrior Wonder: Cousins bounces back in win over Hornets
“Boogie” dropped 24 points and 11 rebounds in another inspirational game on his comeback tour
DeMarcus Cousins has had a predictably inconsistent return from his difficult Achilles’ injury rehab that cost him a year of basketball. A man that big, battling against fellow behemoths or chasing gnat-like guards on the perimeter, needs time to get his conditioning and feel for the game back.
After a tough loss against Houston, Cousins was forthright in his frustrations.

But that’s the beauty of his position with the world champion Golden State Warriors. The Dubs took a flyer on the big fella’s redemption arc with an eye on the postseason, not so much late February. Cousins has plenty of time to round into shape and he took a major step forward last night in Charlotte in the Warriors’ 121-110 victory over the Hornets.
Warriors win in Charlotte, move to 43-17. DeMarcus Cousins with his most productive game yet: 24 points, 11 rebounds, 3 assists, 3 blocks, +10. He's been much better on the road since his return.

Each night that Cousins battles to regain his Olympian form, Dub Nation gets a front row seat into the story arc of a man snatching his legacy back from the brink of destruction. I’m nominating “Boogie” as the Warrior Wonder for his stellar bounce back game last night, what do y’all think?
