If you haven’t hopped on the Christian Yelich MVP train, now’s the time

The Brewers star outfielder had the best season of his career and almost won the triple crown.

Life is good in Milwaukee. After sweeping the Colorado Rockies, the Brewers are back in the NLCS for the first time since 2011.

Not only are they just four wins away from reaching the World Series, but oh yeah, they also have superstar outfielder Christian Yelich. And he isn’t messing around.

In fact, Yelich had the best season of his career

In his first season with the Brewers, Yelich led the NL in batting average (.326), tied for second in RBIs (126), and tied for third in home runs (36). He narrowly missed the NL triple crown.

It’s safe to say, the dude put up numbers this year, and now you can help Yelich make his case for the NL MVP.

The message doesn’t get any more clear.

As SB Nation’s Eric Stephen noted, Yelich was already an MVP candidate before September, but then he went off during the final month of the regular season. In his last 13 games, the All-Star outfielder went 21-for-43 with six home runs and 21 RBIs. That’s bananas.
