Steelers vs. Bengals live stream: How to watch 'Monday Night Football' online
The Bengals and Steelers will face each other in Week 13, and this is all you need to know.
The Cincinnati Bengals started the season looking like one of the worst teams in the league, but they’re coming off a win going into their Week 13 game against the AFC North rival Pittsburgh Steelers. That game will be the featured Monday Night Football game at 8:30 p.m. ET. on ESPN (live stream at WatchESPN)
Pittsburgh has fared much better this season with a 9-2 record, including a win over the Bengals in Week 7. That game ended, 29-14 in favor of the Steelers, who haven’t lost since facing the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 5. They have won their last six games.
The Steelers’ winning streak includes the win over the Bengals and wins over the Tennessee Titans, Green Bay Packers, and Kansas City Chiefs. The toughest game remaining on the schedule is a matchup against the New England Patriots on Dec. 17.
They can afford to stumble a bit with the remaining schedule, but everyone in that locker room wants to sweep the Bengals this season. The Bengals are 5-6 with wins over the laughably bad Denver Broncos and Cleveland Browns in their last two games. They have lost to all of the good teams they have played this year, including the Steelers.
One strength of the Bengals is the pass defense. It ranks fifth in the league, allowing just 203.8 yards passing per game. Cincinnati is 10th in the league in points allowed, but it has to worry more about the NFL’s leading rusher, Le’Veon Bell.
Bell has 981 yards on 252 carries, good for a 3.9 average. He also has five touchdowns on the ground and has caught 61 passes for 396 yards. Ben Roethlisberger has completed 63.1 percent of his passes for 2,948 yards, 20 touchdowns and 12 interceptions.
